Cheering abortion

I heard on the radio the cheering in the Senate gallery after defeat of the abortion bill.

What about this defeat is worth cheering? Why do we fight for the rights of convicted murderers who have been sentenced to death but cheer for the right to terminate an innocent life?

Whether we use the terms kill, terminate, conclude, end or others, isn’t the result the same? What am I missing?

I felt my stomach wrench as I listened to the cheering. I have to wonder if they would be willing to witness an abortion and then cheer.

This was another sad day in Texas and another step toward the crumbling of morals.
