Two more men have been arrested in connection with a home invasion Sunday that fatally wounded the robbery victim and one of the suspects.

Jabbar Rashaad Bowens, 21, was being held in the Mansfield jail Thursday following his arrest Wednesday on a capital murder warrant. Bail was set at $500,000 in the case.

On Thursday, Kenyon Anderson turned himself in on a warrant. He, too, faces a capital murder charge, police say.

Police believe Bowens and Anderson were among four people who kicked in the door of AnJoria Atchison’s duplex early Sunday in the 6700 block of Glenbrook Lane with plans to rob Atchison.

Investigators say an exchange of gunfire ensued, resulting in Atchison and two of the suspects, Donald Davis, 20, and Drayon Demon Perkins, 19, being shot.

The suspects fled the scene. A short time later, the injured suspects arrived by private vehicle at a Fort Worth hospital.

Davis died later that day from his injuries. Atchison was hospitalized and died Tuesday from his injury, a gunshot wound to the head.

Perkins was formally charged Wednesday with capital murder in the case, court records show. He was being held in the Tarrant County Jail Thursday with bail set at $500,000.
