A young Fort Worth man was shot to death early Sunday after several men kicked open the front door of a home on Glenbrook Lane in southwest Fort Worth and opened fire, authorities said.

The victim was identified as Donald Davis, 20, of Fort Worth. He died at 10:15 a.m. Sunday at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth, almost seven hours after the shooting was reported.

Officers were dispatched to a report of a shooting shortly after 3:30 a.m. Sunday in the 6700 block of Glenbrook Lane and arrived to find the young man suffering from a gunshot wound.

A witness had called police to say that four or five men had kicked open the door and shot Davis.

Police did not provide any additional information on the case and no one has been arrested.
