A bases-loaded single in the bottom of the 11th inning lifted Edinburg to a 7-6 victory over the Fort Worth Cats, who had rallied from an early four-run deficit Sunday night at Edinburg Stadium.

Edinburg overcame eight errors for the victory.

Cats starter Cole Stephens struggled to shut down Edinburg early in the game and the Cats trailed 6-2 after five.

The Cats tied the game with four runs in the sixth behind three hits and three Edinburg errors.

T.J. Bozeman replaced Stephens in the sixth, allowing only one hit — but walking five — in five innings of scoreless relief.

Trevor Longfellow pitched the 11th, allowing a triple to lead off the inning before intentionally walking the next two batters to load the bases for Fernando De los Santos’ game-winning single.
