A man was fatally stabbed Thursday evening during a fight in the 6200 block of Watermark Court in west Fort Worth, police reported.

The names of the victim and the assailant, who was arrested at the scene, were not available late Thursday.

Officers were called about 6:15 p.m. to the location, which is southeast of the intersection of Northwest Loop 820 and Texas 199.

They saw the stabbed man was receiving medical treatment, Officer Sharron Neal, a police spokeswoman, said in a news release.

The man was taken to Texas Health Harris Methodist Fort Worth Hospital where he died, Neal said.

Investigators learned that the two men had “an ongoing argument since last year,” Neal said.

The assailant remained on the scene where he was arrested “without incident,” Neal said.

No other information was available Thursday.
