Prayers answered

I want to respond to the June 6 letter about “Prayer failure.” The writer stated in part, “praying is a waste of time. Nothing fails like prayer.”

I have had many prayers answered in my lifetime, but especially in the past two weeks.

A friend fell down some stairs and is in a hospital in ICU with a serious head injury. Many friends and acquaintances have spent much time in prayer for her, and because of this there has been amazing progress in her condition each day.

There is only one explanation for this: Prayer is vital and prayer does work.
