A Conversation with Leonard Slatkin: Fred Child, host of American Public Media’s Performance Today, leads a talk with the renowned American maestro conducting the pianists and Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra in the final round of the competition. 10 a.m. today, Van Cliburn Recital Hall. Free.

Jury Symposium: Members of the competition jury will discuss how piano studies have changed in the past decade, artists’ careers and repertoire. 10 a.m. Saturday in Van Cliburn Recital Hall. Free.
