h Cheers: To the nurses and staff in the Richardson Tower at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth. They were so kind and loving to my sister-in-law, who has Alzheimer’s. Even when she was hard to manage, they were so sweet and understanding.

— Barbara Brady, Joshua

h Cheers: To Patti Bonham, retiring first-grade teacher at Donna Park Elementary in Hurst. I know she will be missed. Best wishes on your retirement. Cheers also to my fellow mentors at St. Paul United Methodist Church.

— Mary Mason, Hurst

h Cheers: To the more-than-generous couple (with children) who paid for my lunch June 2 at Luby’s on Bridge Street. Your kindness convinces this stranger that I was absolutely in the presence of angels. May God “pour into your lap a good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over.”

— Sue Turner, Fort Worth
