i Jeers: To the uninsured woman who hit my daughter’s car in Lake Worth on Mother’s Day. Her daughter advised my son-in-law that they are nurses — there’s no blood, therefore, no trauma. Neither offered assistance to my four grandchildren, one of whom has yet to recover.

— Carol Burk, Fort Worth

h Cheers: To Teresa McUsic, the “Savvy Consumer,” for her sage advice that helped me to convince the three monolithic, all-powerful credit bureaus to expunge the erroneous delinquency caused by a fraudulent medical bill. Her compassion and knowledge are a perfect synthesis for a special person and journalist.

— Arnold Benson, Keller

h Cheers: To Eric Hopkins and the Humane Society of North Texas for making the trek up to Southlake to rescue two lost labs on Memorial Day.

— Peter Sensenbrenner, Fort Worth
