Man shot and killed in southwest Fort Worth

A man was shot and killed Friday evening in southwest Fort Worth off of Sycamore School Road.

Jerry Moseley, 24, of Fort Worth, died at 7:33 p.m. at John Peter Smith Hospital, according to the medical examiner.

Officer Sharron Neal, Fort Worth police spokeswoman, said the shooting occurred in the 7400 block of Candle Ridge Circle.

When police arrived, Moseley had already been taken by private vehicle to the hospital, Neal said.

Police on Saturday had no additional details about the shooting and said no arrests had been made.

The case is still under investigation.
