hCheers: To Jeb, nurse in the post-anesthesia care unit at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Southwest during my recent stay. His care and concern for his patients are surpassed only by his nursing skills.

— John R. Black, Fort Worth

iJeers: To parking fees at Will Rogers Memorial Center. In the past, seniors were given two hours free parking to deliver and pick up items for the Senior Citizens Fair. This year, seniors will have to pay to park for the less than one hour we are there. How many seniors won’t do the fair this year?

— A.V. Blue, Fort Worth

hCheers: To Powerball, Megamillion, lottery, gambling — all redistribution of wealth. Sound familiar? Takes from the lower-economic and middle-income people and places it in the hands of a few. The top one percent get richer while middle-class wealth decreases. Sounds like socialism in Washington.

— Jack O. Lewis, Haltom City
