ARLINGTON _ A Fort Worth man suspected in two sexual assaults was in custody on Wednesday and detectives were trying to determine if more women may have been victims, police said.

The 26-year-old man arrested last week is a suspect in May 9 and April 13 attacks on women.

“Detectives are trying to determine if there are any other victims who may not have felt comfortable coming forward previously,” said Arlington police spokeswoman Tiara Ellis Richard in a news release.

Police identified the suspect as Brandon Williams of Fort Worth. He was in the Arlington Jail on Wednesday, facing charges of aggravated sexual assault, burglary and aggravated kidnapping.

Authorities did not release his booking photograph because detectives may have to conduct additional photo lineups.

Police also did not provide details of what led up to his arrest, saying only that he was taken into custody through the investigation. Arresting officers noted that Williams matched the description of the suspect in the April 13 attack. He has a growth or large bump on his jaw line that matched the description of the man who attacked a woman on April 13.

As he was questioned about the May 9 attack, Williams provided detectives with details about the April 13 case, Richard said.

No information was released on the May 9 attack, but officers were dispatched to a sexual assault call about 2:50 a.m. on April 13 at Pioneer Parkway and Green Oaks Boulevard. The woman told police that she had been parked on the shoulder of the road when a man she did not know walked up to her and sexually assaulted her.

He was described as an African-American man, about 6-feet, weighing about 200 pounds. On his upper and lower teeth, the man had gold teeth that possibly were a removable clip-on grill. The man had a large “knot on his face in the cheek area” that was some type of growth.
