A woman playing video games inside a Fort Worth convenience store early Monday morning was set on fire by another woman, who then fled in a vehicle.

The victim, who’s name has not been released, was flown by CareFlite helicopter to Parkland Hospital in Dallas with life threatening burns, according to a Fort Worth Fire Department press release.

A second woman received minor burns and was taken to a local hospital. A employee at the store also received minor burns as he helped the women.

The women were inside the Buy & Save convenience store in the 2700 block of Azle Avenue playing video games about 2:30 a.m. when the attacker came in and doused one of the women with a flammable liquid. Fort Worth Fire Department investigators said it is unclear how the liquid was ignited and why the attack occurred. The suspect fled with another person.

Both police and fire officials are investigating the attack.
