We have decided to surrender. There is a spare bedroom at our house that has until now been called “Michele’s Room” because that is what our granddaughter named it years ago when our cousin visited with us.

However, with all the new admissions about the U.S. government invading our privacy — IRS special audits, cameras on every corner and now the Justice Department on a rampage — we have discussed it and come to the conclusion we should make preparations for them to send an agent to live with us, so they can know everything we do.

Accordingly, from this day forth, the new name for our guest room will be Government Room. We are ready.
