Irving police continued their search Wednesday for an unknown man who sexually assaulted a woman at her home Monday morning and knocked her unconscious.

The attack occurred about 9 a.m. Monday at a home a few blocks north of Airport Freeway.

The woman told police that she had just walked out the front door of her home when she was confronted by the man. He forced her back into her home where she was raped and knocked out, police said.

When the victim woke up, the suspect was gone, police said.

Immediately, she called police.

The suspect is described as Hispanic or Middle Eastern, medium complexion, about 5-foot-9, weighing about 150 to 160 pounds with dark hair. He was wearing black clothing, including black gloves and a black mask.

Police warned residents to be on alert and to immediately call authorities if they see anything suspicious.

Anyone with information on the case should call Irving police at 972-273-1010.
