The Big 12 and Southeastern Conference announced an annual men’s basketball challenge between the two leagues beginning this fall.

TCU plays at Mississippi State on Dec. 5 as part of the 10-game lineup. Most of the games are scheduled to be played Dec. 2-6. Kansas plays at Florida on Dec. 10 and Oklahoma plays Texas A&M at the Toyota Center in Houston on Dec. 21.

Baylor and Kentucky play at Cowboys Stadium Dec. 6 in perhaps the marquee matchup of the series. ESPN will broadcast all 10 games on its networks. The networks and start times have yet to be established.

“It will add more quality opponents to our schools’ annually strong nonconference schedules and provide an additional avenue to showcase some outstanding intersectional matchups,” Big 12 Commissioner Bob Bowlsby said in a release.

The Big 12 last had a similar agreement with the Pac-10 from 2007 to 2010. Big 12 teams were 28-20.
