The driver of a sport utility vehicle killed Monday in a multi-vehicle crash has been identified as Michael Silvestri of Arlington, according to the Tarrant County medical examiner’s website on Tuesday.

Silvestri, 25, died at the scene of the Monday morning wreck, officials said.

The crash occurred about 7:30 a.m. Monday at Park Row Drive and South Field Road, police reported.

Silvestri was driving northbound on Fielder Road, entered the intersection and struck a car that had been southbound and was turning left. Then the SUV struck a third vehicle and the signal light pole in the northeast corner of the intersection, police said.

The motorists of the other two vehicles suffered minor injuries.

The intersection was closed for most of Monday while workers repaired the damaged signal pole.
