U.S. House Oversight and Government Reform Committee hearings have thrust the Sept 11 terrorist attack that killed Ambassador Chris Stevens and three others in Benghazi, Lybia, back into the spotlight.

Diplomat Gregory Hicks, who was in the Libyan capital of Tripoli that night, told the committee he raised questions shortly afterward and was “effectively demoted” for speaking up.
