A Weatherford man accused of pulling a gun at customers outside a taco stand early Sunday was disarmed by another man who restrained him until deputies arrived, officials said Monday.

Mikey Floyd Huff, Jr., 43, was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct/displaying a weapon, a news release from the Parker County Sheriff’s Department states.

The incident was reported at 3:15 a.m. Sunday outside a bar in the 1880 block of U.S. 180, also called Mineral Wells Highway, on the far west side of Weatherford.

When deputies arrived, a 29-year-old man, who was not identified, told them that he had been standing near a taco stand outside the bar when Huff "approached him and began arguing," the news release states.

The man said Huff pulled out a .45-caliber handgun. The man said he wrestled the gun away from Huff and restrained him until deputies arrived.

Huff was released about noon Sunday on $5,000 bail.

“Deputies believe alcohol is a related factor in the incident,” the news release states.
