For stronger leadership on City Council Place 3, I’m voting for Leon Leal — a sterling candidate versus stale incumbent Mike Lease

Leal has demonstrated leadership, winning two terms to the Grapevine school board; being appointed to tax increment financing boards for Grapevine Mills and the Gaylord Texan; serving the Parks and Recreation board; co-chairing the Grapevine schools’ bond committee and serving on the education foundation; and serving nine years on the Baylor Regional Medical Center Grapevine board.

The incumbent’s leadership experience includes a tepid tenure with the council and the Grapevine-way path there: chairing the chamber; chairing a local service club; and serving on a minor city board.

Leon Leal’s depth of experience and fresh perspective demonstrate he is best suited for Grapevine.
