If your company hired a new CEO, would term limits be imposed? Terminating your CEO and his high-performing staff because of an arbitrary rule might not be very wise.

Is Grapevine any different? On occasion, council continuity, experience and collective knowledge have prevented large cities from running roughshod over us, and we gained compromise.

Term limits have a negative effect on small towns and unfairly restrict my desire to elect the most qualified person. We do have regular elections and the right to elect officials of our choice.

Vote against the term-limit proposition.
