Want help climbing one of Colorado's highest peaks? Solaris Vail, Vail's newest luxury lodging, makes mountaineering a little easier, or at least better organized, with its "Bag a Fourteener" package. The weeklong package includes two mountain fitness classes, led by endurance coach Ellen Miller, and some of the equipment guests will need to reach the summit of nearby Mount Elbert, the highest peak in the Rocky Mountains, at 14,440 feet. You will receive a personal oxygen canister, a Camelback hydration pack and a commemorative book, 14,000 Feet: A Celebration of Colorado's Highest Mountains. The hike takes place the Saturday before guests depart. The package, which runs May 5-Sept. 29, starts at $630, or $315 per person/double occupancy. For more information, call 970-476-9000 or email
