h Cheers: To the traffic signals on the new Hurstview Drive bridge in Hurst. They will make driving much safer in the immediate neighborhood since some folks have a tendency to roll through, or completely ignore, stop signs. Also, many drivers don't seem to know right-of-way etiquette at stop-sign intersections.

-- Robert Mills, Hurst

i Jeers: To parents who ruin things for their children. My nephews play soccer, and I love to watch them, but I hate seeing parents and coaches who teach their kids to play dirty. Whatever happened to sportsmanship and values? Cheers to my nephews' coaches for teaching the best of both.

-- Chrysanne Mason, Euless

hCheers: To Renee from AT&T Pioneers for providing educational prizes to our Washington Heights Elementary students during our attendance rally and donating headphones for students to use with their educational computers in the classroom.
