FORT WORTH -- Police appealed for help Tuesday to find a Fort Worth man who police say was in a vehicle that ran over and critically injured an ATM technician on Friday after taking a money bag from the victim.

Authorities believe Juan Antonio Segura, 21, also is the same man who stole a money bag from the same technician in December at the same store.

Detectives released a photograph of Segura in hopes that someone knows where the Fort Worth could be hiding. He is considered to be armed and dangerous.

A surveillance video that captured the robbery also was released by police on Tuesday.

In addition to Segura, police are searching for other suspects involved in the robbery at a Chevron store in the 1000 block of Bridgewood Drive.

"We believe there were three suspects involved in this case," Fort Worth detective. Brian Raynsford said Tuesday. "Two suspects entered the store and a third was waiting in a vehicle."

The victim, a 55-year-old Bedford man, suffered life threatening injuries to his leg and abdomen, and remained in an area hospital on Tuesday.

The robbery occurred about 12:30 p.m. Friday when two men each wearing hooded jackets walked into the store, one stood in front of the counter while the other strolled to the back where the technician was servicing the machine.

At some point, one of the suspects picked up the money bag and ran out of the store followed by the other suspect. The technician chased the suspects, caught up with one in a parking lot and fought with him, according to a police report. Detectives believe the victim fought with Segura.

The technician managed to get the hooded jacket off Segura, but fell down during the fight. Segura jumped into a tan Isuzu Axiom SUV which then drove forward and ran over the technician, the report stated.

During the investigation, a witness told police that he was near the store when he saw two men in hooded jackets running to an SUV, and recognized one of them as Segura, authorities said Tuesday. Another witness gave police the license plate number of the SUV and the owner was Segura, according to the police report.

Detectives believe Segura is still driving around in the Isuzu Axiom with Texas license plates BRM5390.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Segura, charging him with aggravated robbery causing serious bodily injury in the Friday case. Another warrant has been issued for Segura, charging him with theft in the December case.

In the December case, Segura is accused of going into the same Chevron store on Bridgewood Drive, taking the money bag from the same 55-year-old technician who was servicing the ATM and running out. The technician was not injured.
