Baltimore Ravens linebacker Rolando McClain is facing new charges in his north Alabama hometown.

Decatur police say the 23-year-old McClain is charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest after a disturbance at a park Sunday.

Police haven’t released details, but McClain is free from jail after posting a $1,000 bond.

McClain, a former first-round draft pick of the Oakland Raiders, has been arrested in Decatur three times since 2011.

Briefly

•  Seahawks: S Kam Chancellor agreed to a four-year, $28 million contract extension. Chancellor made the Pro Bowl in 2011 and had 92 tackles last season.

•  Saints: While vacationing in Machu Picchu in the Peruvian Andes, LB Scott Fujita signed a one-day contract with New Orleans on Monday and retired. Fujita, 33, was a member of the Saints’ Super Bowl winning team in 2009. He played for the Cowboys in 2005 and finished his career with the Browns.

•  Broncos: Las Vegas court officials said charges have been dropped in a felony case alleging that safety Quinton Carter added $5 to craps bets after the dice were thrown. Carter, who actually was never officially charged, forfeited $1,000 in bail money.

•  Panthers: The Charlotte city council on Monday night unanimously approved an agreement in which the city will contribute $87 million toward improvements to Bank of America Stadium. The deal will keep the Panthers in the city at least six more years.
