Stars at Kings

8 p.m. Sunday, Staples Center, Los Angeles

TV: FSSW Radio: KTCK/1310 AM

Records: Stars 22-19-3, 47 points; Kings 25-14-5, 55 pts.

About the Stars: Dallas is two points back of the West’s eighth and final playoff spot with four games remaining. The Stars have lost two of three after winning five straight. They are coming off Friday’s 2-1 defeat in St. Louis. … The Stars routed the Kings 5-1 on April 9 in Dallas. The five goals matched the most allowed in a game this season by the defending Stanley Cup champs. … The Stars have scored 11 goals in three games this season against Kings goalie Jonathan Quick. Since allowing the five goals on April 9, Quick has gone 3-0-1 with a 1.44 goals-against average.

About the Kings: LA is 17-4-1 at home, but half of the Kings’ home losses in regulation have come against the Stars, who have won five straight at the Staples Center. … A loss to Dallas and an Anaheim victory would eliminate the Kings from contention for the Pacific Division title. … LA is tied with San Jose for the No. 4 seed in the Western Conference and home-ice advantage to open the postseason. … Defenseman Matt Greene returned to action Friday after missing 42 games following back surgery and helped Los Angeles limit Columbus to 21 shots in a 2-1 victory.
