The exact dates and times have yet to be set but the Dallas Cowboys announced their 2013 NFL preseason schedule on Wednesday.The Cowboys would report to training camp in Oxnard, Calif. on July 17 with the first practice on July 19 and then open the preseason facing the Miami Dolphins on Sunday, Aug. 4 in the annual Pro Football Hall of Fame Game in Canton, Ohio.The official dates and times will be announced when the regular season schedule is announced next week.NFL notes • Retirement: Jason Hanson, the NFL’s longest-serving active player, has decided to retire at age 42 after playing 327 games with the Detroit Lions. • Falcons: Starting right tackle Tyson Clabo, who started 101 games and made one Pro Bowl in seven seasons with Atlanta, was released in what appears to be a salary cap move. • Cardinals: One-time Cowboys defensive back Bryan McCann, from SMU, signed a one-year contract, and Rashad Johnson re-signed for three years.
