Kevin Cron hit his first home run of the season and Paul Hendrix drove in four runs as TCU cruised to a 10-0 victory over UT Pan American on Wednesday night at Lupton Stadium.Stefan Crichton (2-2) threw six shutout innings for the Horned Frogs. He allowed two hits, walked two and struck out five.Trevor Seidenberger surrendered one hit and struck out one in his lone inning of work. Justin Scharf tossed the final two innings. He surendered one walk and struck out one.TCU scored six runs in the third inning to break the game open.A walk, Jantzen Witte’s single and a groundout produced the first run. With two outs, Hendrix, a junior from Birdville High School, drew a walk to put two on. A balk advanced both runners into scoring position and Derek Odell delivered a two-run single to left for a 4-0 lead. Cron followed with his home run to make it a 6-0 game.Dylan Fitzgerald reached on an infield single, stole second and scored on Keaton Jones’ single to cap the scoring.TCU improved to 13-16 overall with the two-game sweep of UTPA. The Frogs’ homestand continues this weekend when they host San Francisco in a three game series.TCU’s pitching staff was dominant. No Frogs pitcher faced more than four batters in an inning and UT Pan American never had a runner advance past second base.The Frogs started the scoring early, taking a 1-0 lead in the first inning. A one-out walk to Witte got the Frogs rolling. Hendrix doubled to straightaway center field, one of his three hits on the night.The Frogs added a run in the fourth inning to push the lead to eight.
