Frisco police say a man accused of sexually abusing children was about to take a flight to Paris, France on Tuesday, but U.S. Customs agents intercepted him at Dallas/Fort Worth Airport.

Kyle Austin Ware, 30, was in the Collin County Jail Wednesday, facing three charges of continuous sexual abuse of a child under 14. Bond for each of the first-degree felony charges was set at $100,000, for a total of $300,000, according to jail records.

"Ware came in contact with the victims while working as a coach at a local private training facility for cheer and dance," Frisco police said in a news release.

Warrants were issued for his arrest, police said.

Customs agents saw Ware's name on a flight manifest. They also identified him "as having multiple warrants stemming from sexual assault offenses in Frisco," police said.

Each of the charges is punishable by 25 years to life in prison, police said.

The investigation continues. Anyone with information can call police at 972-292-6000.
