Burleson-area man dies day after one-vehicle crash

A 31-year-old man died Tuesday from injuries received a day earlier when his pickup crashed into a tree in a rural area east of Burleson.

Bryan Ratliff of Burleson died at 3:17 p.m. in an operating room at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth, the Tarrant County medical examiner reported.

The wreck happened at 3:40 p.m. Monday in the 6700 block of Levy County Line Road, said Terry Grisham, spokesman for the Tarrant County Sheriff's Department.

Ratliff was flown by helicopter ambulance to the hospital, Grisham said.

The scene of the crash is about two-tenths of a mile from Ratliff's listed address, according to records.
