h Cheers: To the young couple who paid for our dinner at IHOP on Precinct Line Road March 23. Didn't get their names, but the woman's dad was a B-17 pilot who was the only wounded survivor of a shot-down plane during World War II. Many thanks and blessings.

-- Jo and Joe D'Angeli, Bedford

h Cheers: To Soundwerk Audio on Davis Boulevard for finding and repairing the problem with the AM radio in our 2008 Chrysler. Even the dealership couldn't isolate the problem. Excellent customer service and reasonable price.

-- Carol Johnson, Richland Hills

i Jeers: To the female officer guarding the corner of Pearson Lane (southbound) at Highway 1701 and Southlake Parkway at 9:45 a.m. March 10 during the end of a bicycle race. She let nobody through to get to our church on Pearson Lane even though no cyclists were in sight. Last year, different cop, no problem.

-- Coralie Key, Fort Worth
