FORT WORTH _ A passenger in a truck killed in a wreck Saturday morning has been identified as David Dickey of Cleburne, the Tarrant County medical examiner's office reported on it's website Monday.

Dickey was found dead shortly before 2:30 a.m. Saturday in the 400 block of Rendon Crowley Road in far south Fort Worth.

The driver of the truck, Ronal Jolly, 36, of Crowley, was arrested on suspicion of intoxication manslaughter. Jolly remained in the Mansfield Jail on Monday with bail set at $350,000.

Police reports state that Dickey had a puppy in his lap and when the puppy appeared sick, he tossed it into Jolly's lap.

Jolly lost control of the truck, which flipped and landed on its side, police said.

Dickey died from blunt force injuries to his head and neck, the medical examiner's office reported.

Jolly had told police that he had been drinking at a bar before the wreck.

The puppy was found at the scene, authorities said.
