Woman killed in rollover wreck in Fort Worth

FORT WORTH _ A woman was killed Sunday morning when she was ejected from a car as it rolled several times on Southeast Loop 820, according to police reports.

The victim was identified as Luisana Gonzalez, 29, of Fort Worth. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the car suffered serious injuries in the wreck and was taken to John Peter Smith Hospital. The condition of the driver was unavailable on Monday.

Officers responded to the wreck about 7 a.m. Sunday in the 2300 block of Southeast Loop 820.

The gold Chevrolet Cavalier was westbound on the highway when the driver swerved to avoid debris on the highway remaining from a previous traffic accident, the reports state.

The car hit a concrete barrier and then rolled several times.

Gonzalez, who was a passenger in the front seat, was ejected, the reports state.

Gonzales and the driver were not wearing seat belts, police said.

Three other vehicles were slightly damaged after running over the debris on the highway left by the Cavalier rolling several times, police said.
