Propaganda alert

The public is being spoon-fed propaganda and they are swallowing it up. Take for instance the argument against thorough background checks for gun purchasers. The gun lobbyists argue it is an infringement upon Second Amendment rights, when in reality gun makers know it will slow gun sales.

Take the argument against term-limits for politicians. They argue that it is better to have longstanding politicians who know the ropes; but the power brokers behind the scenes know it is easier to keep one person on a string than to keep trying to re-thread new people to dance to their tune.

The quicker the public wises up the sooner we will have better government.
