Police look for man who robbed bank in north Fort Worth

FORT WORTH -- Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man who robbed the a north Fort Worth bank Tuesday afternoon.

The robber occurred around 2:30 p.m. at the Bank of Texas, 3200 Heritage Trace Parkway.

Police say the man walked into the bank, demanded money, and motioned that he had a gun. He fled with an undisclosed amount of money southwest through the parking lot toward Hobby Lobby.

The robber is described as white, 5-foot-3 to 5-foot-6-inches tall and 150 to 170 pounds with a muscular build. He was unshaven at the time of the robbery and wore a black ball cap, black-hooded jacket, blue jeans and dark sunglasses.

Crime Stoppers offers up to a $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest. Tipsters remain anonymous.
