Trustees OK Assessment:What do we pay our school superintendent for and vote board members on board? As someone in upper management it is there job to make tough decisions without pawning off the responsibility to a consultant company. Once an “assessment” is done, boards then lazily vote on recommendation. A consultants job is not to make tough decisions but to finds ways to spend money. Principals manage facilities, and superintendents manage principals, and are voted board members manage the superintendent. This was a lazy decision by all and should not be taken lightly. $247,000 dollars is a lot of money that is at least five teacher salaries or administration cost frivolously thrown away. Do your job and stop being lazy superintendent and board. If it was your personal money and your house or your own business would you call in a consultant? No is the answer!Disappointed, Guy Manasse, Keller
