NORMAN, Okla. — Hunter Haley hit an RBI single in the bottom of the 10th inning to complete No. 17 Oklahoma’s comeback and the Sooners’ weekend sweep of the TCU Horned Frogs, who are still trying to find their Big 12 footing.TCU led 3-0 after four innings, but Oklahoma (22-4, 3-0 Big 12) tied the game two innings later when Anthony Hermelyn hit a two-RBI double off Nick Frey.Andrew Mitchell allowed just one run on six hits with one walk and six strikeouts in 4 2/3 innings in his return to TCU’s starting rotation. The Frogs (9-14, 1-5) stranded 10 runners, the most notable one coming in the top of the ninth. Boomer White led off with a single and then stole second. But Jantzen Witter popped up to second, Paul Hendrix lined out to center and Jerrick Suiter struck out swinging to end TCU’s last scoring chance of the game.Frey allowed a one-out single to Craig Aikin in the ninth but promptly picked Aikin off before getting Max White to ground out, sending the game into extra innings for the second time in three days. But after the Sooners’ Jacob Evans (4-0) retired TCU in order in the top of the 10th, Matt Oberste led off the bottom half for OU with a single off Riley Ferrell (0-1). He moved to second on a sacrifice bunt, and then TCU’s Trevor Seidenberger was brought in for Ferrell.A passed ball by Kyle Bacak sent Oberste to third, and Haley singled him home three pitches later. The Frogs next face Dallas Baptist at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Lupton Stadium.
