Fort Worth patrol officer hurt in wreck with SUV

A Fort Worth patrol officer was slightly injured Sunday morning when a sports utility vehicle rear-ended his patrol car, police said.

The SUV driver was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated; police did not identify the suspect.

The wreck occurred about 3:30 a.m. Sunday at Riverside Drive and Arlington Avenue in east Fort Worth.

The officer was sitting in the stopped patrol car when the SUV struck the back of his vehicle, police said.

Authorities did not release any other details.
