The Sunday editorial, "End to straight-ticket voting not a priority," is right-on in suggesting that it may be impossible to have an informed electorate. "How much information does a voter need -- and from which sources?" the editorial asked.

Chris Matthews or Sean Hannity?

Statesmen are few and far between in government. Unless we know that a career politician serves the people rather than self or party, he/she should be voted out at the first opportunity.

That is our only hope for fixing a dysfunctional government.
