Another Metroplex sports team that's had a little success and now ownership thinks it knows everything. It happened over at Valley Ranch when Jerry sent Jimmy packing because he thought he could run the Cowboys without him. Well, he has! Straight into the losers' abyss. It happened over at Cuban World when Mark Cuban decided not to pay Tyson Chandler top dollar for his services and sent him packing.

Now Rangers ownership has given all its love to Jon Daniels in the form of a promotion to president of baseball operations when that title belonged to Nolan Ryan. Now we may lose Ryan forever as a big part of the Rangers.

It will be a sad day indeed when Ranger fans have to say goodbye to Ryan, especially the way this went down.
