GRAPEVINE — GRACE will be the beneficiary of a baby shower being held to honor Britain’s Prince William and Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge.
The shower to honor the upcoming birth will be held at 10 a.m. March 23 at First Presbyterian Church of Grapevine.Grapevine Relief And Community Exchange (GRACE) is a Grapevine-based non-profit relief agency that provides food, clothing, financial assistance and other vital necessities to people who are struggling with a limited income or recent emergency.“We are also gathering things that the GRACE pantry needs most right now,” says Leslie Rigoulot, the moderator of Presbyterian Women for the church. “Sure, they need diapers but they also need cooking oil, canned meats, dry laundry detergent, tomato sauce and canned milk.”The public is invited to attend the event, which will include a light brunch with tea and coffee in the Fellowship Hall. Unwrapped gifts will be shared with attendees before they are given to deserving families.
