Murphy Holloway scored 23 points and former Hurst L.D. Bell star Marshall Henderson had 21 as the Mississippi Rebels gave coach Andy Kennedy his first NCAA tournament berth Sunday by upsetting 13th-ranked Florida 66-63 for the Southeastern Conference tournament championship in Nashville.

Ole Miss (26-8) has won seven of eight to grab its first tournament title since 1981 and its second ever. Even though reaching this game for the first time since 2001 likely clinched the NCAA bid, the Rebels didn’t leave anything to chance by winning it all.

Ole Miss’ Reginald Buckner added 13 points. Florida (26-7) hasn't won the SEC tournament since wrapping up a three-peat in 2007 and hasn't won a game by fewer than 10 points this season.

Miami (Fla.) 87, North Carolina 77: Shane Larkin scored a career-high 28 points, eight in the final 2 1/2 minutes, to help No. 9 Miami (27-6) pull away late and beat North Carolina (24-10) in the Atlantic Coast Conference tournament championship in Greensboro, N.C.

Trey McKinney Jones added a career-high 20 for the top-seeded Hurricanes, including the go-ahead 3-pointer with 6:27 left that started Miami's push to secure its first ACC tournament title. Miami held on despite P.J. Hairston’s 28 points. He had six of UNC’s 13 3-pointers.

Ohio State 50, Wisconsin 43: Deshaun Thomas scored 17 points — including crucial late free throws — and the 10th-ranked Buckeyes (26-7) used their stout defense to beat No. 22 Wisconsin (23-11) for their conference-best fifth tournament title.

Thomas was 6 of 19 from the field. Traevon Jackson led Wisconsin with 10 points, and no other Badger scored in double figures.

Saint Louis 62, Virginia Commonwealth 56: Kwamain Mitchell scored 19 points, including a huge 3-pointer with the shot clock winding down, and tournament MVP Dwayne Evans added 16 to lead No. 16 Saint Louis (27-6) to its first Atlantic 10 tournament title over No. 25 VCU (26-8).

Top-seeded Saint Louis led 45-32 with less than 12 minutes left. Despite foul trouble, VCU again showed it can erase a deficit quickly and was within a point three minutes later.

Cody Ellis hit a 3-pointer on the Billikens' next possession, then made another clutch 3 for a 57-51 lead. Treveon Graham led VCU with 20 points.

Women’s roundup

Delaware 59, Drexel 56: Elena Delle Donne scored 28 points, and No. 15 Delaware (30-3) held off Drexel (22-10) to win its second straight Colonial Athletic Association title and extend its school-record winning streak to 25 games.

Green Bay 54, Loyola of Chicago 38: Sarah Eichler scored 16 points and Adrian Ritchie added 15 as No. 20 Green Bay (29-2) beat Loyola of Chicago (17-15) to win the Horizon League tournament championship and make a fifth straight NCAA tournament.

Wichita State 69, Illinois State 65: Alex Harden and Michaela Dapprich scored 19 points each to lead Wichita State (24-9) over Illinois State (23-10) in the Missouri Valley tournament championship.

Quinnipiac 72, Saint Francis (Pa.) 33: The Bobcats (30-2) will make their NCAA tournament debut after routing the Red Flash (17-15) for the Northeast Conference tournament title. Quinnipiac has won 22 consecutive games.
