ALLEN — A one-goal deficit turned into a comfortable victory after the Fort Worth Brahmas piled on three scores in the last two periods to defeat the Allen Americans 4-3 Sunday at the Allen Event Center.
Fort Worth (37-19-8) got goals from Sy Nutkevitch and Phil Fox in the second period and Calin Wild in the third after the Americans (37-17-9) scored twice in the first for a 2-1 lead.Todd Robinson pulled Allen within 4-3 with 3:07 left in the game, but the Brahmas held on as goalie Brad Fogal ended up saving 38 of Allen’s 41 shots.The Brahmas next play at Arizona on Wednesday at 8:05 p.m. Fort Worth has already clinched a Central Hockey League playoff berth.Have more to add?
