About the Thunder: Oklahoma City has the third-best record in the NBA and the fifth-best road record at 19-13. ... OKC is first in the Northwest Division, first in point differential (+9.5), second in scoring (106.7 ppg), eighth in rebounding (43.3 rpg) and 13th in points allowed (97.2 ppg). ... Point guard Derek Fisher, who left the Mavs on Dec. 22 when he said he was homesick but signed with the Thunder two months later, will make his first appearance against his old team. ... Kevin Durant leads the league in scoring with 28.3 points per game, and averages 7.9 rebounds and 4.6 assists. Durant’s sidekick, Russell Westbrook, is sixth in the NBA in scoring (23.2 ppg), eighth in steals (1.8 spg) and averages 7.6 apg. Serge Ibaka is second in the league in blocks (2.91 bpg) and fifth in field-goal percentage (57.2 percent).

About the Mavs: Dallas has won five of six while playing its best basketball this season. ... This is the third game in four days for the Mavs, who are only 18-12 at home. ... The Mavericks will be without leading rebounder and top defender, Shawn Marion, who has missed the past five games with a strained left calf. ... Dirk Nowitzki has averaged 17.7 points and 11 rebounds the last three games. ... Dallas tries to avoid a season sweep by OKC after losing the previous three meetings. Kevin Durant scored 40 points and Serge Ibaka collected 19 points, 17 rebounds and five blocks to lead the Thunder to a 111-105 overtime victory over the Mavs at home on Dec. 27. On Jan. 18 in Dallas, Durant poured in 52 points as OKC beat the Mavs 117-114 in overtime. And on Feb. 4 in OKC, the Thunder tripped the Mavs 112-91.
