Defensive end Marcus Spears wasn’t out of work long after being released on Thursday by the Cowboys.

It took him less than a day to sign a two-year contract with the Super Bowl champion Baltimore Ravens.

Spears announced the news on his twitter account @mspears96: “I’m a raven!! See u in Maryland God is so good.”

According to reports, Spears will get $3.55 million over the next two years. He was scheduled to $2 million in 2013 from the Cowboys.

Spears is the second former Cowboys defensive lineman to join the Ravens this week, following defensive tackle Chris Canty, who played fours years in Dallas after being drafted by the Cowboys in 1995 before playing with the past four years with the Giants.

Spears is likely to be a backup in Baltimore just as he was in Dallas the past couple of years.
