FORT WORTH -- A woman died after falling from a sixth-floor walkway Thursday evening at the Tarrant County College Trinity River East Campus in downtown Fort Worth, authorities said.
The woman was identified as Jill Ross, 47, of Hurst, according to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner's website. Offiicials ruled her death a suicide.According to a police report, officers were summoned at 7:25 p.m. to the Allied Health Conference Center on the campus, which is on the bluff overlooking the Trinity River northwest of the Tarrant County Courthouse.Officers said the woman had gone over a railing and landed near outside stairs next to the fourth-floor level. -- Bill MillerHave more to add?
