I hear sequester, I hear tax increase on the wealthy, military spending reduction and myriad other solutions to our financial woes. What I don't hear is reduction of foreign aid.

Recently, Secretary of State John Kerry promised $190 million for Egypt to "pay its bills." We are already providing $1.3 billion in military aid to Egypt. And we are throwing good money after bad to Iraq. And $60 million to Syrian rebels. And billions to the Afghans.

The answer? Require accountability for every dollar for foreign aid. How about it, Mr. President and Congress?
