About the Spurs: Once again, the Spurs are having a great regular season and are on the verge of winning 50 games for a record 14th straight year. San Antonio has the league’s second-best record, fourth-best home record (26-4), and is second in point differential at a plus-8.1 per game. ... The Spurs are first in the NBA in assists (25.1 apg), fourth in scoring (104.4 ppg), 11th in points allowed (96.3 ppg), but only 23rd in rebounding (40.9 rpg). ... The Spurs were blown out Tuesday night in Minnesota, 107-83, after deciding to leave Tim Duncan and Kawhi Leonard at home while both recover from what the team reported as sore left knees.
