About the Mavs: After wins against Detroit, Minnesota and Milwaukee, the Mavs are 3-0 on this four-game road trip which concludes tonight . Dallas led all three games by at least 15 points. ... This also is the first leg of a back-to-back for the Mavs, who host Cleveland on Friday. ... Overall, the Mavs come in riding a season-high tying four-game winning streak. They also won four consecutive games from Jan. 10-16 over Sacramento, Memphis, Minnesota and Houston, In addition, those three straight road wins are the most the Mavs have won in a row on the road all year. ... The Mavs are seventh in the NBA in scoring (101.4 ppg) and 27th in points allowed (102.3 ppg).

About the Spurs: Once again, the Spurs are having a great regular season and are on the verge of winning 50 games for a record 14th straight year. San Antonio has the league’s second-best record, fourth-best home record (26-4), and is second in point differential at a plus-8.1 per game. ... The Spurs are first in the NBA in assists (25.1 apg), fourth in scoring (104.4 ppg), 11th in points allowed (96.3 ppg), but only 23rd in rebounding (40.9 rpg). ... The Spurs were blown out Tuesday night in Minnesota, 107-83, after deciding to leave Tim Duncan and Kawhi Leonard at home while both recover from what the team reported as sore left knees. Duncan and Leonard both played Monday when the Spurs beat Oklahoma City, 105-93. ... San Antonio will be without PG Tony Parker (sprained left ankle).
