FORT WORTH -- A passenger in a car who died Saturday night in a traffic crash was identified as Emmanuel Mutunzi of Abilene, authorities said.

Mutunzi, 47, suffered blunt force head injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The Tarrant County medical examiner's office ruled his death an accident.

Mutunzi was a back-seat passenger in the car which was involved in a three-vehicle collision Saturday night in the 5500 block of McCart Avenue.

Police said an SUV heading south on McCart about 8:20 p.m. was rear-ended by the car when it stopped at a red light at Walton Avenue. A pickup then hit the car in which Mutunzi was a back-seat passenger.

No one else was injured, police said.

Fort Worth police were investigating the crash late Saturday.
