TCU’s rifle team finished third Saturday at the NCAA Championships in Columbus, Ohio, with an aggregate score of 4,664 points.West Virginia took the championship with 4,679 points.Three TCU seniors, Olympian Sarah Scheer, Sarah Beard and Caitlin Morrisey, ended their college careers with a four-year record of 48-3 in matches, two national championships and two third-place finishes.Scheer finished fourth individually this year, and freshman Hannah Black was fifth. • Track & field: Charles Silmon earned his sixth career All-America honor with a third-place finish in the men’s 60-meter dash finals of the NCAA Indoor Championships in Fayetteville, Ark. Silmon turned in a 6.61. • Men’s tennis: TCU edged North Carolina 4-3 in a five-hour match. The Frogs upped their record to 9-4. • Women’s tennis: TCU blanked Wichita State 6-0.
